Shortly after our visit to Aunt
Yvonne over the summer a few things happened.
Her beloved dog Sandy
died and she fell a few times - nothing broken but she can no longer really
take care of herself. She went into a
nursing home for folks with memory issues and it was time to get her house
ready to sell. We had told Jeannie and
Ken that we would be there to get the house ready to sell.
We drive back to Kansas and start the
process - Uncle Fred had Grand-Dad Schnittker's roll top desk. Our cousin Matt Schnittker has long said he
would like to have the desk, so we prepared it for shipping to California.
