Mark has all of the new instruments installed and as of a few days ago wired into the panel and working. This is what the helm looks like now. We dismantled the helm over a year ago to sand and paint pedestal, epoxy the floor of the cockpit (dry rot repair) and install the new stainless steel helm guard and conduit for the wiring. During that time the old instruments were duct taped together (and I am not kidding). They were removed after we were back in the slip and stowed below until the next time we needed to take the boat out. Believe me when I tell you it looks much prettier now.
