Street scene in Trellis Bay
Mark and I are retired and are living full time on our Gulfstar Custom 50 sailboat. If you are interested in just the boat re-furbishment, see posts Feb. 2009 and older.

Full Moon Party
The next photo we have we are in Trellis Bay (Beef Island to the east of Tortilla) for two nights. The first night we had a lovely dinner ashore, the second night was the ‘Full Moon Party’ on the beach. These balls are stuffed with cardboard and paper and set aflame soon after dark. Much dancing and fun for all. We took the lazy (cheap) way out, packed a cooler, jumped in the dinghy and watched from the water. It was very cool and we avoided the crowds. Some friends saw us and told up later that they wish they had thought of it as well.
Why me?

Dave and Rae Ann
Finally, we catch our friends Dave and Rae Ann in a photo. We had a photo of their children (4 & 6, or 5 & &) many months ago but somehow they escaped the photographer. They have now left the Virgins and have transited the Panama Canal and should be on their way to the Galapagos. I know some of you have had a lot of fun following our blog so in case you would like to check out their blog (as they are also on their way to the South Pacific) here is the link: http://duerfamilycruising.blogspot.com/
